After weeks of reading and watching everybodys film links i have cracked it myself. so if anyone is interested this is a little self indulgent trailer for our DVD out at christmas.
You got two options on the page but both look terrible to the original obviously so if anyone has any tips about how to get a bit of extra juice out of tiny movie files i'd love to know!

I watched the trailer on the site and it looked pretty good.

I think it looks promising.
But the compression *is* awful, what did you use?
The soundtrack set a nice atmosphere.

i know geocities has a 5mb limit to file size but theres no need to make it quite so small! I had to squint to see it...
The start although impressive with the gunshots was way too long and cheesy, infact it was just plain bad seeing them walk slowly with the flames and then have them try and look interesting with thier guns. The clips them selves didnt really give me any clue what so ever about the story but nor did it really give me any indication of what genre it was or any other stylistic information... But this made me intrigued as what on earth the movie was about, some of them in particular resonated with me very much. My mind is now full of amazing possibilites of what they could of all been depicting.
So overall it obviously worked
(The fact half the running time is them guys walking to the camera and then shooting thier guns is a sin tho!)

i did say it was a bit self indulgent! its also a very slight parody of the matrix in that sense.
but thanks for the responses i'll keep you posted about the DVD's release!
in terms of compression just used the final cut pro 3 quicktime compression. and it is truly horrible!
